Pratibha Shah, BAMS, Masters in Ayurveda, MPH is the Founder and Director of the Council for Ayurveda Research. She is one of the leading Ayurveda experts in the New England area. Her pioneering initiatives in the field of Ayurveda have brought her to attention at the White House, the Department of Health and Human Services, as well as the Consulate General of India, NYC. She is a prolific speaker and educator in the community. She has authored several papers and writes regularly for many e magazines and journals. She is an editor with the Ayurveda Journal on Health and Associate Editor with the Ancient Science journal. She is a senior faculty with the Kerala Ayurveda Academy. Before moving to US in 2004, she was working as Chief Medical Officer with the Central. Government of India, in the ministry of Indian System of Medicine (AYUSH).

Pari is a NJ licensed pharmacist certified in MTM (Medication Therapy Management), Ayurvedic Practitioner and Founder of Ayurvedashram - a Holistic Wellness Center in New Jersey. She holds a Masters degree in Pharmacy, a Diploma in Ayurveda Medical Sciences and an MBA in Pharmaceutical Management. She integrates her expertise in medication and disease state management with Ayurvedic principles and therapies in her practice.
Her principal research is focused on Ayurvedic interventions in Autism Spectrum Disorder and Integrative health approaches in the area of Pre-conception care. Her work includes documentation of case studies at Ayurvedashram and dissemination of ayurvedic knowledge in the community through workshops and corporate seminars. She is an invited speaker on Mind-Body Wellness and Integrative approaches to Health and her work has been published in various Journals.
Pari is a passionate advocate for mind-body-spirit approach to wellbeing. Through her roles in various organizations; Research Scientist -World Institute for Scientific Exploration (WISE), Maryland, Full Member -Sigma Xi Scientific Research Honor Society -Yale Chapter, and Associate Editor -Ayurveda Journal of Health (AJH), MA, she engages with scientific communities and Ayurvedic practitioners to foster evidence-based research in Ayurveda. She also serves on the Advisory Board of Ashram Center for Wellbeing, a NJ Non profit.
Prior to her current practice, she has over a decade of experience in pharmacy management and the pharmaceutical industry in roles collaborating/leading cross-sectional teams, both local and international. Besides work, Pari finds great joy spending time with family and in nature.

PhD, Professor of Neuropharmacology
Diana I. Lurie, PhD., is a Professor of Neuropharmacology in the Skaggs School of Pharmacy, College of Health Profession and Biomedical Sciences, at The University of Montana. She received her PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Pennsylvania, and joined the Faculty in the department of Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Sciences in 1995. She directs a research laboratory focusing on brain development and injury, and the response of the nervous system to natural products, including Ayurvedic herbs. She collaborates with researchers in the U.S. and India. Dr. Lurie is an Ayurvedic Practitioner and received her training through Kerala Ayurveda USA. She teaches neuroscience and Anatomy and Physiology as well as courses in Ayurveda. She lectures extensively at the University and in the community in the areas of alternative medicine and natural products. Dr. Lurie is the Editor-in-Chief for the Ayurveda Journal of Health, a journal published through the Center for Indic Studies at the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth, that focuses on the science and practice of Ayurveda.

Dr.Ingle is staunch believer of translational medicine approach using integrated systems to address current health challenges. Trained as Physician researcher specializing in Pharmaceutical Medicine, Dr.Ingle contributes as Clinical Regulatory Scientist and managing member at CRC Pharma since last 4 years. With 10 years of academic and industry experience in drug discovery and development research, Dr.Ingle is instrumental in assisting small to mid-size pharmaceutical/ biotech/ nutraceutical clients for strategy development non-clinical and clinical development planning, regulatory compliance and communication. Dr.Ingle’s efforts are pivotal in advancing scientific and medical communication projects at CRC Pharma. Owing to her experience, she is working actively on new concept generation for drug repurposing and combination drugs.
Learning Ayurveda from various Guru’s, she practiced Ayurveda in India for over 5 years before moving to USA. She has used the knowledge of Ayurveda in identifying the leads for research in infectious diseases (namely- HSV, Malaria, H1N1, etc) and autoimmune diseases such as Sjogren’s syndrome and type 1 diabetes. Her work explored the correlation of Ayurveda principles to modern disease pathophysiology at system pharmacology level and explored the related effect on microbiome.
After receiving Ayurveda medicine training of 5.5years in Mumbai, she continued her masters and PhD in Pharmaceutical Medicine-Clinical Pharmacology as summa cum laude student. She has post-doctoral fellowship experience in Immunology specializing in autoimmune diseases like type 1 diabetes, sjogrens’ syndrome. Dr.Ingle has worked as Assistant Professor in India at KEM Hospital, Mumbai, India under State University for 3 years and mentored and guided nearly 30 master level students.
Dr.Ingle is actively working with Non-profits for research and is associated with CAR since 2015. She also serves on various committees in other well reputed organizations. She is offered Affiliate membership of the prestigious Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the UK. She served as Associate Editor for Journal of Ayurveda and Integrative Medicine since 2017 and work actively as reviewer for multiple notable journals. She has to her credit over 50 papers and presentations, 7 book chapters and had edited a book on Emerging trends in Phytopharmaceuticals.

Meenakshi Gupta is an internationally renowned Ayurveda expert, classically trained Vaidya, holistic Practitioner, Founder CEO of AyurRoots Ayurveda Wellness in the Dallas area. She is a Brand Ambassador for Unilever Ayurveda hair care brand Indulekha.

She has more than five years of extensive teaching experience at Ayurveda Colleges in India, and more than 18 years of extensive teaching experience in the USA.

Vaidya Meenakshi has more than 20 years of extensive international experience in the design & delivery of various Ayurveda courses. She has authored several papers and writes a regular column in several e-magazines, health magazines, various Radio talks, and newspaper articles.

She serves as a Chair for the Journal club of Council for Ayurveda Research. She is on the editorial board of various Ayurvedic International Journals and ex-coeditor of Ayurveda Mantra Magazine.

She is a prolific speaker, educator, and leader in the field of Ayurveda. With close to 23 years of Ayurveda clinical practice, she is one of the few holistic practitioners who leads the effort of real integration and focuses on client-centric restorative care.

She is a recipient of various awards such as the ‘Charaka Award’ By the Association of Ayurvedic professionals of North America for her work in the field of Ayurveda and was nominated in the Top 15 Women of the Year by Top Pick media for 2019.

Prof. Vandana Baranwal BSc is a leading expert of Ayurveda specializing in women health. She has more than 25 years of experience involving various aspects of clinical, research, teaching and education in Ayurveda.

Growing up in Banaras, India, she has been very fortunate to learn from some of the world’s most renowned and respected teachers and takes pride in her heritage and feels honored to pass it on to the next generation.

Before moving to the USA, she was Professor in Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Bengaluru. She is a registered guide for post graduate studies with RGUHS, Karnataka and Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik, Maharashtra in India and continues to guide dissertations for post graduate students.

She is senior faculty at Sevanti Institute, USA. She is associated with various Ayurveda schools and organizations across the USA and India.

She is a published author of “Stree Roga Vimarsh”, a book of Ayurvedic Gynecology and “Prasuti Tantra Sandarshini”, a book of Ayurvedic obstetrics. She is a regional editor with Journal of Research and Education in Indian Medicine (JREIM). She has published many research papers and writes regularly for various Ayurveda magazines.

Her passion and love for Ayurveda fuels her vision for the development and growth of Ayurveda in the Western word, including creating and implementing high quality education and training programs as well as practicing various aspects of Ayurveda for optimal health and wellbeing.

Subject of research in the field of Ayurveda is close to her heart. She believes that research in the field of Ayurveda should be focused on strengthening Ayurveda and Ayurveda practice.

Ayurveda has a rich heritage of sophisticated Ayurvedic formulations and empirical evidence base of thousands of years of practice. There is a need to search the best evidences already available and assess the strength of that evidence by critical analysis and synthesis. Identifying and prioritizing fields from the vast knowledge base of Ayurveda, designing time bound projects focused on specific clinical conditions, developing modules for preventative health care for implementation in collaboration with various health care groups, organizations and Government or non- government agencies can potentially strengthen health care system.

She envisions Council for Ayurveda Research as an unique platform to promote and establish Ayurveda as an evidence based health science globally.
