Ayurveda has a rich heritage of sophisticated Ayurvedic formulations and empirical evidence base of thousands of years of practice. There is a need to search the best evidences already available and assess the strength of that evidence by critical analysis and synthesis. Identifying and prioritizing fields from the vast knowledge base of Ayurveda, designing time bound projects focused on specific clinical conditions, developing modules for preventative health care for implementation in collaboration with various health care groups, organizations and Government or non- government agencies can potentially strengthen health care system.
She envisions Council for Ayurveda Research as an unique platform to promote and establish Ayurveda as an evidence based health science globally.
